Is it just me or does it seem like Tofugu has been getting “Inspiration” from everyone else’s J-blogs and not even giving them credit?
A German artist Julius Popp does exactly the same thing! Only his installation is named bit.fall and connected realtime with Internet and most popular news sites and feeding the news headlines as waterdroplets in the exhibition space.
I thought he did something original, but I am a little dissappointed.
By the way, bought your book on Saturday, from Estonia! Very happy about it. I’m currently interested in Japanese anime and especially the artists who create anime landscapes and cityscapes and I needed something to give me a short course into Japanese culture and your book is doing a wonderful job!
