Ghibli Car

When we were on our way to the abandoned hospital we bumped into this strange car. It reminded me of the Studio Ghibli artworks. The car design looks like it has just come out from a Hayao Miyazaki movie. The readers of my Spanish blog found out that it is a Nissan S-Cargo and only 12,000 units were produced between 1989 and 1992.

Next to the car we met this charismatic Japanese man guarding a construction site with a lightsaber. We started talking and he told us that he had lived ten years in France and he had published two books about the study of languages.

Coffee shop where you pay the coffee of the next client

If you go to Ogori coffee shop in Tokyo when you pay you don’t receive what you have ordered, you receive what the client before you ordered and paid! Would you go to a coffee shop where you can’t have what you want but what other client that you don’t know at all ordered? What would you order knowing that what you are ordering is not going to be for you but for the next client?
I love the surprise factor of this coffee shop!

Origin Bento
Origin Bento shop window. Origin Bento is the biggest bento chain store in Japan. Bento is food prepared in some kind of lunch box. At the beginning I used to like the bento thing but I kind of got tired of it. What is cool about Origin Bento is that you can also “design” your own bento inside the store, choosing what you want in each part of the container.
