Evolta is a new brand of batteries manufactured by Panasonic. In order to demonstrate how good their new batteries are they used a little robot and made him climb from the bottom of the Gran Canyon until the top in 6 hours and 40 minutes with only 2 AA batteries.
Two weeks ago I visited a place underground where they raise plants with artificial light. It is in the Marunouchi area next to Tokyo station, I was very surprised to see what they are doing below all those skyscrapers in Maronouchi.
These are some of the pictures I took. In some of the rooms the light was so shinny I had to use sunglasses, it was like going out to the street in a clear summer day.

I never noticed that this palm tree in Daikanyama had solar panels on the top until last week. I like the idea of integrating solar panels in our cities, for example, in my spanish post someone suggested that Big Camera and Yodobashi should install solar panels on all their buildings roofs.
